audio aux

Hello. Anyone knows of a way I can boost the AUX signal that is coming from my iPood? It seems to be about 50% reduced compared to radio or CD. And yes, I'm pretty sure, I already did what I could on the apple device.
Thank you.

Maybe you should trade that knock-off in for a real one?

I use the aux input (have used it both via a wire and a bluetooth dongle) and there is never a difference between the sounds of different sources. Are you sure you have the volume up on the iPod? Are you using a dongle or a cord?

I'm using a wire (30 pin) that is coming out of the glove box. iPod volume is all the way up and I checked whatever I knew to check for. I'm also using an adapter that is allowing the iPod to charge.

OK, that's different than what I have. I have the "aux input" in the glovebox, not the 30-pin. I can't imagine why it would be different, though? But, to eliminate some variables...

-- Try without the charging adapter
-- Try another iPod or iPhone
-- Basically, eliminate variables upstream of the 30-pin car connector.
