Hello all, yesterday I replaced my air compressor a 2yrs old AMK brand with a new Arnott compressor. It seems that the airmatic relay was faulty caused the compressor to keep running and burned it out. Here's the thing, since installing the new compressor a few things have happened. 1. While approaching the carwash this morning I heard a loud pop, rear airbags burst and 2. It seems that when I either lock, or unlock the doors, I hear air being released, it's a short burst. Does this even remotely sound normal? The reason that I ask about the air being released is, I never heard that sound before, even when I replaced the compressor 2 years ago. As for the rear bags, Arnott is sending me 2 new bags under warranty.

The short burst is normal. Not sure why you never heard it before, though.

Yes after I installed the new compressor and relay. I swear all was fine up until last Monday, that's when the compressor failed. Received the new compressor this Monday, installed yesterday, rear bags blew today. Only the front dropped down when the compressor failed.
