2007 GL transmission problems?
Hi there
1. My 2007 GL gives off a ticking sound on gear change.
2. There is also noticeable hesitancy on gear change.
Me humbly thinks it is a dark omen for shadowy times to come.
What kinds of problems could manifest in such ways?
What can I do?
How much would it cost?
Is it better off selling the car if there is transmission problems?
p.s. local (the only) merc dealership SUCKS ***!, thus kinda have to do things outside of official dealers.

While stopped, if you press on the brake and accelerator at the same time, does it "click" as well? If so, it's your transfer case. I had to replace mine... (2007 model as well) They can be rebuilt, but I bought a used in-tact one for ~$650 and replaced it.
