Yes it is that time in a GL owners life that you have to refill the oil intercooler rings...

Any good recommendations for a mechanic to do the replacements. Not a fan of the stealership but I could be persuaded.
The GL has about 115K on it so it probably needs an intake cleaning at the same time.

West side LA area preferred but not essential.

Thank you, I had not found that resource before, however I am looking for a shop that knows diesels and in particular the engine in the Gl350 so they will be quick when doing the seal replacement.

Super nice and knowledgeable they mainly work on Sprinters and MBZ diesels. They know their stuff.

For me the upshot was a leaking drain plug, not the intercooler seals. I will be going back there as needed and for sure when the time comes to do the seals

Just a quick update, FixMySprinter has closed. :-(

So looking for a new mechanic, if I find a good one I'll post back here for reference.
