Rear Brakes and Rotors 2012 GL350
Is it best to replace the rotors when I install the new pads and sensor or can I get by with the original rotors. I didn’t notice much wear on the rotors but they do have 67,000 mile on them..
Thanks
i always recommend doing a brake fluid flush before you do the pads as the new pads will push the dirtiest of the fluid (the one in the calipers) up the lines and into the abs module. when that happens very often the tiny orifices of the abs get clogged and you are looking at a new abs module ($$$$)
Know also that the screws that mount the rotor carrier to the hub are replaced, not reused.
