Air conditioning compressor, whining.
Starting a new air compressor thread since I found that it wasn't my power steering pump that was out. Turns out it was my ac compressor that was making the whining noise. I should have turned the other pulleys before I misdiagnosed the steering pump. My ac compressor pulley was making a grinding noise and there was friction when turning the pulley by hand.
Anyway, I doubt that it is the actual compressor but instead the bearing in the pulley that is bad. I've searched all over the internet for a pulley assembly for this compressor and can't seem to find anywhere. I'd rather replace the pulley than the whole compressor and have to deal with taking it to the shop for refrigerant service anyway. I believe my car has a clutchless compressor. I see many clutches for sale, but not just the pulley. Any help would be appreciated...

I think that's my only option anyway. The pulley itself isn't available anywhere. I have all the tools so it wasn't going to be hard. Just wanted to save the trouble of dealing with refrigerant.
