My wife's GL has codes for the NOx sensors... been running with the CEL on fro some time. Cleaned all the dried crystallized AdBlue off the sensors which took care of the CEL for a short time, now it's back. Wife continues to drive the car for a few months and then the dreaded 'remaining start' countdown begins. It's down to single digits, and been sitting for a couple weeks, trying to decide how to approach this. Not really wanting to throw thousands into new sensors etc, so I'm looking to alternatives. We don't have vehicle inspections here where I live so I was thinking of bypassing the AdBlue and SCR systems. I have seen NOx sensor bypass systems for sale on eBay (does that mean it's too good to be true??) also OBD emulator plugs. Anyone have any experience with going this route?
My DD is a 2000 TD5 Defender, no DEF... just a bit of a cloud and a nice diesel smell.... I like simple.

I have been using this small 6-wire AdblueNox bypass for a couple years without any notable issues. I can recommend this solution.
Is that the same unit from eBay for $500?

So if I understand correctly it will take me from a single digit remaining start, and codes fro the NOx to back up and running?

Yes, correct. 2-wires have to go all the way to front passenger foot-well to connect to CAN-bus.
