GL350 Hiccup in Acceleration?
2011 GL350 131000mi, DPF deleted
I'll try to explain this the best way possible, when lightly accelerating around 1500-2000rpms there is a jumpingness or hiccup present once motor is warm. Almost feels like a slipping gear but no issues at any other time. If accelerating moderate to heavy there is no sign of this issue present. Does not seem to be similar to the transfer case issues others have had. Could it be fuel related or shift point related or some other issue? Looking for a direction...
Thx

Is the check engine light on? Have the codes read.
Sounds like an an electronic or electrical problem, causing a misfire or something that presents itself similar to a misfire.

I didn’t notice the 131k miles. It could be a lot of things.
When was the last time the transmission fluid was changed? If there is a noticeable sound or feeling (lurch, stumble, miss, etc) then it is in the power generation (engine) or distribution (transmission) system.
With no stored codes it’s a tough go.
Nox sensor?
egr system?
engine sensor somewhere? TPS, MAF, crank pos, cam pos, etc
transmission sensor or conductor plate or torque converter?
