2009 GL320 Bluetec whinning troubleshoot
Hello,
Anyone have experience with a whinning sound coming on acceleration? It goes up along with rpms while driving, but nothing when parked and revving. Also, no noise when foot is off the pedal, so I'm inclined to think it might be turbo related... I've checked for play in shaft and its all good, turbo looks clean and spins fine... boost seems to be fine when driving.... any ideas or what else to check for?
Thanks for any help...

Yes, it disappears as soon as I let off the gas. Car seems to drive fine otherwise, although there doesn't seem to be as strong of a surge when I floor it...
Would this be between exhaust and turbo or down to the intercooler?
