I don't have the keyless go option on my 450. I really only want the push to start feature. Does anyone know of a really good aftermarket option?

 

I think I've read that some aftermarket remote starters can be configured through your phone. Meaning, you can start your car with your phone before you even exit the house. Personally, I'd look into that avenue as there are other benefits such as cooling/heating the car ahead of time.

 

I'm thinking they might have been thinking about an aftermarket version of Keyless Go. My guess is that it's not really practical, so it might actually come in better using a remote starter as you suggest. Maybe find a fabricator to incorporate a remote and it's button to a dash location? It won't be perfect, most remote starters have a slight delay to actually crank the car so it won't be an instant-start like factory, but you would have the advantage of having a remote start (kits usually have two fobs) ability.

 

What year and model vehicle do you have? 450 only really tells us what engine size you have, but not the MB year or model vehicle you're looking to upgrade.
