Airmatic stock ride height
2011 GL450 with ADS.
I just replaced my two front stock air struts with Arnott 3088 units about a week ago. The vehicle has been driven several hundred kilometres since the swap out and I've cycled the raise/lower settings a number of times.
My question is what are the proper ride height settings for the vehicle?
My front driver side is lower than the front passenger side at all settings. The rear heights are even but higher than the front.
From the floor to the fender lip measured at the center of the wheel on a level surface my measurements are as follows:
Front Driver: 33 1/2"
Front Passenger: 34"
Rear Driver: 34 1/2"
Rear Passenger:34 1/2"

1/2" isn't all that much - it could just be the way the vehicle was parked. But, a more accurate way of checking things would be to analyze the level sensors - you don't need a super expensive code reader to do this, but you may need a better one to recalibrate, if needed.
Before you do any of that, though, pop off all the level sensors, clean the cup and ball real well, then pop them back on with first applying some grease. Go for a short drive then check again.

In Star diagnostic, the stock level sensor height is 30mm on a flat surface.
HOWEVER! That is a sensor reference range that is not related to the actual distance between the tire and fender well.

+1 on Dennis' suggestion. I had an issue with the linkage on my front left sensor being seized and that kept the car leaning to the right. Front and rear left were at 34.5", front and rear right were 33" (ADS in auto mode). After cleaning the problematic linkage all corners were at 33.25" or 33.5" (can't recall exaclty now, but all were same height.) I was measuring from ground to where the fender lip starts, making sure the tape was coming over the center of the wheel/vcenter cap for consistent accurate measurement. I've noticed that a slight deviation from the center of the wheel/cap will give you a slight deviation (longer) measurement, given the ground is level.
