Front Brake Repair Les Schwab

I need to replace the front brakes on my 2012 GL 350. Approximately 6 months ago, I purchased the rear OEM brakes, rotors, pads, sensor and Mercedes 4+ brake fluid online and had a local trusted mechanic do the repair. The cost for the parts and to install was approximately $500.00.
This week I went to Les Schwab for flat tire repair and spoke to the manager about the cost of completing a front brake repair. The manager said they use Mercedes rotors, pads, sensor and 4+ brake fluid which is sent to their company in unmarked boxes at a cheaper cost. He said Les Schwab bleeds the brake system by machine which removes all impurity’s from the system and comes with a warranty. Today I received a quote for approximately $600.
My question is: Has anyone used Les Schwab for their Mercedes brakes and what is their opinion of the quality of the brakes installed.?

I wouldn't use them. Mercedes procedures call for replacing (not reusing) the bolts that fasten the caliper carrier to the hub.

I’m not sure what bolts you’re talking about that fasten the caliper carrier to the hub. Do you have a part number? I’m leaning towards having my local mechanic do the brakes so I’m interested in the part you mentioned. Mileage on my 2012 GL350 is 78,700 and the brakes were replaced once before at 35,000 miles.

they’re just bolts with factory blue loctite applied.
available from an mb dealer for not much money, or just clean the old ones and reapply some blue loctite.
I don’t think they are stretch to yield.

If you're going to pay someone to do it, thats about the average price using OEM equivalent parts.

On the brake bolts. The Only time they should be thrown out and replaced is if they are a one time torque bolt. Its common on engines nowadays, not necessarily MB.
But, like someone said, just blue loctite them again after cleaning and retorque properly.
Brakes arent difficult to do.
I have done one MB, my wifes GLK 350, and it was not hard. Used all MB and saved a huge amount of money. Then had the dealer flush and replace the fluid at same time they did an alignment..
