Bunch of Fault Codes need help.
Hello,
I have CEL on and a bunch of code read after I scan it with TORQUE app. They will not clear with the App. Please give me some pointer to make some repair before bringing it to a shop.
My GL450 did trigger traction control light a few times when it was raining really hard couple weeks ago. Im thinking I need to change out the thermostat and L & R upstream oxygen sensor? I can do that myself. What else do you think I need? TIA..
Should I get a better Scan Tool? like a icarsoft?
2007 GL450 80k mi Code scan
Current
P0128 - Coolant temperature below Thermostat regulating temperature
Pending
P0607 Control Module Performance
P2240 Oxygen (O2) Sensor Positive Current Control Circuit / Open (Bank 2 – Sensor 1)
Stored
P0569 Cruise Control Coast Signal Malfunction
P0435 Catalyst Temperature Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1
P0436 Catalyst Temperature Sensor Range/Performance Bank 2 Sensor 1
P0856 Traction Control Input Signal
P1337 Engine Control Module RPM Signal Output

That what MaxBlast says can be right but first of all a list of things that can be done:
See if the alternator is generating the proper voltage (13.8 to 14.4V);
Verify the batteries integrity, if they are capable of keeping at least 12.8V from one day to another;
Have you installed led lamps? Some of these errors can be caused by then.
Verify the grounding on the engine bay, sometimes they have oxidation and need to be cleaned.
Verify the engine temperature sensor, it is better to use the star diagnosis for this.

Thanks. I will check on the voltage and engine temp first.
Can anyone point me to good reference on setting up a DAS / Xentry? I see software can be purchase on ebay reasonably. .

Car starts everytime and strong. dont think it is the Voltage. Battery is 1.5 year old Bosch unit
I have to change the ECU in 2/2019.(Dealer Job) arg.... Car starts well after that tho.
So. Im a DIY guy. throwing parts at it. Im thinking
Precat O2 sensors left and right
water temp sensor
thermostat
That will only set me back about $300.
What do you think?
