Some of these I've never heard of.
1) I've replaced all 4 struts and air springs from Arnott in 2018.
2)I have the oil cooler gasket, but I have not observed it leaking in sometime.
3) I have all brand new Continental extreme contact ws6
4) this damping control actuator module. Isn't this an easy DYI? The dealership installed all my struts, etc.
5) I've never in my life see any antifreeze leaking, ever. The fluid has never been low either.
6) On their "Multi Point Inspection say the emergency brake is good. Funny thing is, I removed the emergency brake years ago. (Don't ask).
Has anyone had experience with any of these items being a DYI? I have all tools needed, car left, etc.
Ive enclosed the screenshot from these replacements and an $8000.00 fix all. I'm a handy DIY person.
All feedback welcome.
The power steering pump and oil filter housing gasket are pretty easy DIY's. And pretty cheap at that. Not to mention that replacing the power steering pump automatically gives you access to the oil filter housing so it should save a step in the repair process (and reduce the labor cost to replace the gasket).
Brake jobs are basic DIY's. Radiator replacement, also DIY (but do you really need that right now?). Brake fluid flush... DIY.
Search the forum. I am sure you will find a DIY for each of the items listed. If not, we are happy to help you figure it out.

So, do you have any problems with the truck? at 125,000 miles, I think you should only fix if there are problems. Exceptions would be drive belt and related components or other wear items (brakes, tires, etc..)
I've had the GL since 2017. I RR the rear air bags. The new Arnott front struts and bags were installed by this dealership.
The funniest part to me is the oil filter leaking. I change the gasket every time I can't understand why that would be leaking. I changed my oil every 8-10k miles with Mobile 1 40 weight. In between oil changes I added top a quarter of a quart.
The O ring in the power steering replacement I have plenty of fluid extractors available here at my house in I don't see that being a problem one bit.
I've also never ever seen low antifreeze or any leaks in my radiator but I'll double check when I get the GL back.
I've heard the serpentine belt is a PITA.
I've never in my 25 years of working on vehicles observed an oil fill cap leak. If anyone has seen this, please advise.
I have a Mityvac, however I'm unsure if its safe to suck out antifreeze with. It absolutely will not give me a full flush. There's always antifreeze is the block still.
My only question would be with the "Suspension control- Damping Control Actuator" or the "Left front air strut with wiring harness". Does anyone know exactly how to replace this I've never even heard of these parts.
The back story of how my GL ended up in the shop, is that I was hit over the summer on the side of the GL (minor) and I recently just took it in to the auto body shop and I told them they can't get an in alignment done at just any shop. I want it done at the Mercedes dealership along with my headlights being aligned correctly because they're removing the front bumper. So Mercedes dealership advise me of all these wrong things.
Funniest part about this is this is the name on this repair estimate is not my service advisor. I'll be sure to call him tomorrow and get the real lowdown on what's going on.
Again thanks for everyone's help hope to hear your comments soon.
My vehicle is a 2010 GL550 with 125k.
