Hey guys I recently purchased my GL and it was flawless the first two weeks until I broke the linkage on the secondary actuator. Pulled the intake, repaired it and fired it up and it ran rough. Found a injector that I didn't get the harness clipped on all the way, cleared the codes and thought I was good. Ran rough again, restarted it and it ran smooth. Been smooth running since but I've got the p0016 code that won't go away. Put a new cam sensor in, no change. Have the actuator on the way but not till next week. Mercedes says my car didn't have the balance shaft issue, and that all the cam sensors/actuators were replaced. My icarsoft says the Adaption of camshaft position right intake is 1 degree, other 3 are at 0. Any ideas?

If it needs a timing chain why is only one cam demanding adaption? #Bank 1 B "exhaust" should be the most effected with chain stretch?

PM your VIN and I will tell you if this falls into the balance shaft/gear problem. On the V6 engines they had a balance shaft on the V8 they had a gear.
