Help with intermittent stall on 2009 GL450
Hello all,
Just purchased 2009 GL450 with 120K miles. Vehicle is in immaculate shape with a clean service record. Having an issue with intermittent stalls while pulling into a parking space or at a stop sign. Here are the details;
PROBLEM
I could really use some expertise here, as I would like to have a better idea before taking it in to the shop.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

PROBLEM
- Occasional stall while pulling into parking space
- Occasional stall at stop sign / light
- Starts right back up
- Seems hard to start when cold (needs two attempts)
- No codes present (with a generic hand held reader)
- No surging or loss of performance while driving at any speed above a stop.
- No engine misfires or rough idles
- New aux battery
- Main battery confirmed good (1 year old)
- Alternator test ok
- New MB plugs
- New MB air filters
- Removed and cleaned MAF sensor
- New Crank Sensor (Beck-Arnley)
- Reset Trans computer to factory settings
I could really use some expertise here, as I would like to have a better idea before taking it in to the shop.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

What extended warranty did you get?? With all these warranty companies you have to make sure you read the fine print. I get many customers that bring their cars into the shop with the mentality that whatever is wrong with their car should be covered..... only to find out they purchased the base plan. I sent you a PM.

Hello all
Thanks for the replies. I have a MB specific download on my code reader....no codes of any type. Also, no historic codes. As for the fuel filter, I do not know when it was changed (if ever). so I was already thinking of having the fuel filter / pump replaced. From my previous experiences...it is cheap insurance. Also I have the new "updated" positive battery cable coming in. I was able to get a original MB part for a steal. I will put that in, and again, it's cheap insurance if nothing else. The stalling has actually almost gone completely, but I am still having the occasional hard time starting. My warranty (endurance) will cover the fuel pump / filter if needed. Otherwise I could do that myself no problem. I replaced the filter and pump on the R350 and I think they are basically the same units with similar access. MBENZTECH has a shop right down the road from me, so I may head to him if I just don't have time for the work myself. But NEVER MB Sugarland.....I have caught them in too many outright lies.
If we are talking cam magnets, I will let the warranty handle that.
