GL350 Need help to identify part...

Hello. First post. Here's the short version. I have a leak (oil?) from one of the electrical parts or sensor on the front top oil pan.

Went to the dealership and they could not help me because it's easier to charge me 300$ for a 5$ o-ring.

So I took a picture and showed it to them and still they were unable to tell me what that is, and the parts guys said, "the technician is ALMOST positive what that is.".

They think it's a liquid level sensor (001-153-13-32)

And I disagree since there's a gray pull tab on the picture and there isn't one on the sensor.

Any help is appreciated.

@StenoPete1911 Can you post more and better lit, better focused photos? Have you searched sites like mercedesbenzstarparts.com to see the parts diagrams for your vehicle?

@chassis Hello. Thanks for the link. I will give that a try later today and will try to get a clearer shot of the part this weekend.
