My engine dead, What the newest engine can be installed on my w164 2009
Hi ihave ML350 w164 2009 ineed to change my engine because of fail timing chain,
What year of engine ican install in my body w164 2009 I want Install with the most advanced year my model has,
My mechanic said I could until 2014.
That's right?
In Wikipedia isee the last engine for my car is 2011,
I just want an engine we've fixed all the known problems that are fixed from the company.

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
**Disregard, just re-read your post and that you have an ML 350 - a V6. You need an M272 V-6 motor.**
Look on ebay or LKQ for these.
Admin, recommend move to W164.

I would not get fancy, to many other issues afterwards. Simply determine your engine number, use EPC and do a where used search and then go look for that engine. Very easy if you take the time first
