2008 GL550 phone pairing

2008 GL550 phone pairing
Hello,
Having a bit of an issue pairing my phone to our new to us 08' 550. There is a long silver puck in the centre console. From what I understand that is the Bluetooth portion of the phone. When I press TEL button on the radio the lights on the puck start to flash the display shows its trying to connect to something then states Telephone Off after about 10 seconds. I don't see a bluetooth network available on my phone when I press the TEL button. I did see a U-Tube showing one on a bench getting a phone to pair with it through the CD side of the radio but when I go there on ours no joy. Any direction on what I'm missing?

Got it sorted. This quote was very helpful.
But basically get the puck, insert it into the armrest (assuming your care is prewired for it) and then press "TEL" on the Command. Now hold down the "Mercedes-Benz Star" on the bluetooth puck while searching for bluetooth devices on your phone. Then enter the code which should be "MBUSA (in numbers)" on your phone and it should then pair.
