New Valve Block/ air compressor Failure

Hi, So my compressor failed and I decided to replace with a new compressor and new valve block at the same time. Everything installed fine but when I started the car the new valve block made a bunch of clicking noises and then the air line to the back of the compressor blew apart! I am assuming the new valve block was not functioning and the pressure built back up in the new air compressor? Does this sound right or does anyone have any other thoughts? Thank you!

Did you lift the vehicle to roughly ride height with jacks before you hit the pump?

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Only if the compressor output line was damaged in any way or not seated correctly in the valve block.

the lines are pex and incredibly durable.
