TVs but no DVD player

TVs but no DVD player
So my 07 GL450 has tvs in the back, but apparently no dvd player, which I overlooked when I bought it like a moron, because I checked to see if the TVs worked, and they did, and didn't even think to look down at the dvd player. LOL. Whoops. Is there any way to unlock the NAV dvd player to play on the back TVs? I would imagine the two aren't even connected at all, but I really don't know for sure. I found a used DVD player on ebay for 90 bucks, and I'm pretty sure I could install it myself. Just figured I'd ask before I bought one.

Iirc the Comand dvd drive is for nav dvds only and I have never seen any means of unlocking that to play regular DVDs in Mbstar / das.
I don’t have this option but did you say you found the DVD player?
there is also a nifty drop down cd changer in the glove box if so equipped - I’m not sure if this was the dvd holster for those cars with premium 2 package and seatback screens.

I can't find any good pictures of the under seat DVD set ups to make sure I'm looking in the right place. I definitely don't have the center console version. Looks like to install the center console one, which I found on ebay for 90 bucks, I also need the whole new back of the center console, which I imagine is an arm and a leg.

My cd player is behind the navigation. the glove box definitely has the slot where one can be installed it looks like, but nothing in there, as its behind the nav screen. I don't care about that anyway I have an fm trasmitter for my android phone to play music. I was just super pumped about having TV in the back for my son and his friends, but I guess they're useless since I don't seem to have a dvd player, unless like I said I'm just stupid and not looking in the right place. The learning curve for this vehicle is tremendous lol.
