M273/x164 Engine Serial Number location
Hi guys,
I just brought my 2012 GL450 from the US to Japan and in order for me to register it I need an actual photo of the engine number stamp. Ive googled to no avail. I know its on the underside but a general location would be helpful.

The Js need an actual photo and not just a data card?
That sounds very Japanese, though.
its damn near impossible to see it on the GL/ML, but you have to be on a lift and look up at the engine/trans joint, iirc the rear right (passenger) side of the block is where I saw mine.

The Js need an actual photo and not just a data card?
