I have a GL450 2007 that the suspension air is completely out of the system, the car was sitting for well over a year. When the air compressor starts it runs for a few minutes and shuts off and no air is going into the suspension. When I went to examine it at the compressor pump I noticed that the air compressor pump was blowing air OUT of what I believe is the inlet that goes up under the right fender well, as in exhausting air instead of pulling in air to compress it and lift the car. The scanner shows 35 bar on the reservoir. I don't think it should be blowing air out, is there an internal valve that switches to maintain ride hide cycling between exhaust or compress ?
