Hi, my ‘07 450 gl has gone from intermittent ac now no cooling. I carsoft tester shows only one code 9007 open circuit to ac compressor. Does anyone have a schematic that will show me the source of power? I have seen it described as a modified pulse wave and will not work with dc. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
Agreed, Not the approach to determine actual fault cause. This condition has risen from my replacement of an original compressor. So, technically I have already done so and it is certainly NOT the solution. Still trying to determine culprit. Any guidance is sincerely appreciated.
I found the wire leading to the compressor and I was able to get the voltage at max and minimum settings (about 1.2 and 12.5 vdc)I forgot actual values. I am going to try an new solenoid valve next. I will post results.

It is an ac compressor, not dc. heh.

Well, given the information you provided in the first place, and given the vehicle's age, it actually is a good answer and likely culprit.

Should have mentioned that in the first place.
How soon after changing the compressor did the symptoms begin? tbh it seems like you either messed up the installation or put in a compressor that experienced early life failure.
