Hi guys i have a 2012 gl350 cdi.
I've been starting to have alot of issues with this car recently, the car ideals rough and i get thick black smoke under acceleration. Sometimes I get an error for cylinder no 5 misfires , no check engine the rail pressure at idel is around 245 bar.the only thing that stands out is the injector no 6 value is at -25 .And no check engine light
could anybody please help me and what would be causing this

Have you read the diesel class action information to see if you are covered under the settlement? This gives covered owners repairs at no cost. This might be helpful for you.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I'm sure I'm not covered in any settlement as I'm from India and we don't have any thing at such that here, I've owned this cas since new it is a 2012 gl350 cdi it has around 80k miles and is pretty much bone stock
just now I changed the drv valve suspecting that it was reason for low rail pressure but no luck still the pressure fluctuates from 240-270bars and it misfires from cylinder no 5 or 4.
Just did an injector leak of test on bank 2 here the test was interesting as the no 6 injector value was almost 70% more from others. I suspect that might be the cause for fluctuations in the rail pressure. I would like to know that will a low rail pressure cause misfire and black smoke
