Alignment on my '09 GL550

Alignment on my '09 GL550
Just had all four shocks with ADS installed. I'm told the alignment can't be done because of the codes.
I do have the UP Arrow that reads malfunction. It rides level and raises and lower with the push of a button as it should.
My other code is 5100 shown as B24/3. Left front body acceleration sensor has a value of 0mV. (Right sensor 2509.8mV) I have the new sensor in hand just waiting to get my GL back from the tire store.
Isn't a alignment (4 wheel I assume) a mechanical process and unless I have some bent suspension components it should align?

I haven't had an alignment on the GL, but on other cars with less complicated suspension, if a ball joint or a tie rod end were not in good operating condition, they would replace those before alignment. Assuming all of that is well and no bent components, plus no leaks from the new struts/bags you should be good after replacing the sensor.
Check to make sure the sensor's harness is actually seated properly before replacing the sensor. I had a hard time with getting one of my ADS solenoids connected to the harness not too long ago. It was apart just enough because the locking clip was getting in the way and preventing the plastic boot to slide fully over the opposing plastic boot.
Edit: I should say "you should hear a click" when the harness locks in place, but I don't hear the click every time when I reconnect harnesses. I make sure that the locking clip is engaged and the harness is not coming apart on its own accord or under the vibrant persuasions of road imperfections.

Check the part numbers on the struts and cross-reference on the Arnott site. Arnott has 3 different strut models for the X164 GL's with ADS. Two of the 3 are "new" (not remanufactured) parts and are not really ADS struts, they use circuitry to "trick" the car in to believing they are ADS, but you don't get ADS functionality... The third model is actually a rebuilt OE strut, and it really is an ADS strut.
It could very well be the level sensor or ADS plug too, as someone else mentioned.

They’re not wrong…wanting to do the alignment with the car at its proper ride height. Which it most likely is not if you have a airmatic malfunction.
that code should not give you that malfunction message though.
