Aftermarket GL550 front bumper options???
My front bumper is heavily damaged and beyond repair. I have been searching for a replacement online and it is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Is OEM replacement my only option? $1,200USD for a front bumper cover is a hard pill to swallow on a 2008 GL550.

Try eBay, Craigslist, https://www.car-part.com. Call some major auto salvage yards in your area and they can access used parts over a wide area. If it were me, I'd pay more for one that is already in the matching color. I did this with a door for my 2012 Jetta. Shopped for a matching black door and found one with a wrecking yard in another state. They operated in my region and transferred the door to a yard close to me. Easy transaction.
FYI, that price isn't exactly terrible, especially since you'll still have costs into painting to match.
