Hi All, Happy Holidays!

Quick question, as I continue to purge un-needed clutter from my garage, I've come across my old transfer case that was replaced due to slipping. Any value to this thing, as a core? Or is it junk? I was thinking of taking it to a metal recycler as I'm taking some stuff there anyways. Thoughts?

You could buy a rebuild kit; document it and sell it as a refurbed case, or keep it as a spare.

 

The place I got a rebuild from: https://tcbmwx5.com/ had a core charge, so I assume they might be interested in buying. Mine completely blew up while the rebuild was in transit, so he's short one.

 

Thanks, I'm trying to eliminate clutter. I've got so many random parts from various cars that I've owned throughout the years, when selling stuff, people on craigslist sometimes think I'm in the auto parts/repair business....literally.
