Battery died now I can’t start suv, have accessory power though.

Hi, i have a 2011 GL 450 I was listening to music in my driveway a few days ago and I accidentally let the battery get to low to start the engine… well my optimistic self said let me give it 5mins and see if it will charge itself back up enough to start the engine. When I finally tried to start it I got a message on the screen in red that said “Take to mechanic don’t switch gears.” Then the whole instrument panel went black and it’s never came back on sense. I’ve tried jumping it with two different cars. Then I had AAA come out and hook up a jumper box to the posts under the hood and still nothing when I turn the key not even a click from the starter or anything. So we tested the battery with it still installed in the car and it came back as good so I haven’t pulled it and tried a brad new one yet. I have checked every fuse there is though in all 5 fuse boxes and if you didn’t know the fifth fuse box is the pre fuse box. Please someone give me some ideas of what this could be. I even went as far as to go down under the car and I arced the starter and it cranked but still nothing. Yes I had the key on when arcing it. I still have accessory pow to the radio, seats, and interior lights. But nothing on the instrument panel

Did you test the auxiliary battery too?
it sits next to the main one.
if this goes bad it won’t shift out of park.
however, you likely fired something so check all fuses, front, and back in the d-Pillar.

i did not test the auxiliary battery. I think today I’ll pull both out and go have them individual checked instead of reading them while they are hooked up to the car I don’t feel like that was a good way to test them. Also what’s the D-pillar?

The D pillar is the 4th pillar from front (ie back pillar). There is a big fuse box on the right behind the cover

it would be good to power down the whole car (pulling both batteries) and see what happens when you put them back in. Obviously don’t have key in ignition when you do

I thought the auxiliary battery only came into play when the main was flat and it allowed you to shift.

but I could be wrong
