I've been having this issue where intermittently my driver's side rear airbag has been losing air. Sometimes just that side goes down and other times both sides in the rear go down. While changing the brakes ( I didn't loosen the battery cable) I saw that the air bag was getting and holding air. The problem has been intermittent where it can hold air over night, but lately it's been loosing air over night. Sometimes driving on it causes the problem to go away. Could this be some sort of crack at the top of the air bag or in the line? The bag otherwise doesn't appear to have any tears or leaks in it. I don't think it's the line because the lack of air would be continuous. What could be the issue? I purchased a new air bag but I thought I would get some feedback before changing it out. There are no error messages on the dashboard pertaining to Airmatic.

Change both bags in the bag, one is leaking and the other will shortly.

They tend to crack - leak - at the fold on the bottom. Thus the leakage is erratic.

A quick test is to wet the bags with soapy water and look for stoner spit.
