front wipers not working
help!gl450 2012 front wipers not working, I checked the hood switch and it works I even bypass it and nothing, I recall getting the hood open alarm and went away, wonder if the code got stuck and wipers are blocked,

Thanks, temoves the battey for 20 mins, checked those fuse and they are ok, but there is no voltage on them when wipers are on
I did put it in Reverse and the rear wipers go on so its not the column control
I think the hood open code still there blocking the front wipers
any other idea? or someone in the SoCal area with a good scanner who can help me
taking it to the dealer will cost at least 240 for inspection

2012 GL 450. 2014 Smart Fortwo Passion
Wiped did not work this morning on 2012 gl450 will check fuses. Stalk is good rear wiper is good front washer is good. Unfortunately it is due to be raining pretty good when I get off work . May have to find something close by to park under for shelter to attempt fix.

If you find no luck after checking the mentioned fuses, then the next step are the two relays in the fuse box in the hood compartment. The two relays will be the yellow ones nearest the drivers side. One of the relays controls on/off and the other controls the rains sensor intermittent delay. It's exceedingly rare that both will fail at the same time so just swap the relays with one another. If you wipers start working again, then you know the other relay is the culprit. A new relay will set you back about $10 bucks.
