Radio keeps rebooting every 10 minutes or so.....

Radio keeps rebooting every 10 minutes or so.....
GL450 2010 and the command center re boots every 10 minutes or so, it works fine just re boots!
Common problem ?
Any fix ?

next it will not turn on at all. that's where I am at... I regret not having taken all the CDs out, there is a possibility the cd /dvd mechanicals are causing something to hang up.... and hence I am advised you to do so... curious if the bottom of your radio (where the hard drive is ) is hot... if you're in the Chicagoland area I would love to meet up and try a few things as I can no longer. i have the fiberoptic loops and bypass kits and a new hard drive,,,

Its actually been doing it for a coupe of years! only just thought to post about it here,lol
Have never used the CD/DVD slot only the radio and usually bluetooth the connection from my phone.

that's annoying. typed an informative reply and lost it because i was logged out and it cleared on logging back in... this would be easier in a voice telephone conversation... 773-225-855eight.
so you have no CDs or DVDs and the command display unit reboots every so often with the Mercedes logo as if it initially powered up after engine start... this happened to me after a few years of the radio just cutting out and turning off after forty so minutes of playing ...I have not had any back up camera or a correctable clock on the gauge clusters for over a year....
there is a supposedly a battery saver relay I am going to look for,
a bunch of optical connections to subcomponents such as the amplifier under the driver seat, the sirius sat radio module under behind that under the second row with the telephone interface next to that and the display LCD and clock are also can bussed into the radio (not sure on the last two) ...
and I am thinking I shall try to reassemble my display but try to run it without the Toshiba hard drive in it ( I hope this is just for navigation and MP3s ) , crossing my fingers this is a scenario similar to a dead battery in a laptop that won't turn on until you remove the dead battery.
