Bulbs for DLR
My 2011 GL450 has the 4 round lights in the bumper. 2 fog lights (the inner lights) and 2 DRLs. What bulbs do the DRLs take? Also, has anyone used LED bulbs in the DRL that did not result in codes? Thanks

Interested in solutions here.
I made the mistake of replacing all my headlight DRL's with LED and the blink a few times before turning off and throwing codes. I replaced my reverse lights with LED and they work - but also throw codes.

LEDs for DRL, etc.
These are the parking light LEDs I used. No problems, no codes. Much brighter.
Parking lights replacement - no codes, work great.

These are the ones I am using in my DRLs and outside turn signals/parking lights. No errors, no codes. I did get a bulb out message on one DRL when I first installed them. I turned the car off and restarted and no problems since. Same thing happened with a headlight LED, too..

Yes. Some of them and they list the bulb receptical type, not specific brands and not LED or other substitute bulbs. In addition, for some it simply says to have the dealership replace them. And that is only because they are very difficult to access.
