Hey guys always put new rims and tires on in the summer but I need advice. Usually I run 285/40/22 on a 22x9 rim offset is 35 but this year I want to throw on 285/45/22 for a little extra cushion. Any opinions on what the extra sizing is going to do to my truck negative or positive is it going to rub, is it going to affect the odometer etc etc ⁉️ 2013 GL 450

A 285/45R22 will be a bit over an inch taller in diameter than a 284/40R22, so only 1/2" less clearance, which shouldn't cause any rubbing issues. Without doing the math, your speedometer will be off a few MPH at highway speeds, showing maybe 2-3 MPH slower than you're actually going. Nothing significant, IMO. It's a pretty small step up in diameter, I cant see it causing any issues.
Thanks grape ape kind of what I figured but just want a little reassurance and insight ya know ⁉️ now my next question is if I go wider then 285 such as a 295 or 305 am I going to get some rubbing ⁉️ I probably won't go wider but just curious to know how far I can push it

I'm not sure about that, you'd have to do some measuring to see how much clearance you really have. Remember that the height is a ratio of the width, so going wider with the same aspect ratio will also make it taller.
