Engine misfire at low revs and CEL
I would like to ask for your opinions and experiences on my 2008 GL 550 (VIN: 4JGBF86E58A385663).
I have a lot of engine misfire at low revs and a check engine light.
Here is all the work that has already been done on my vehicle:
- change of 8 spark plugs
- change of 8 injectors
- change of filter and submerged fuel pump
- cleaning the entire fuel system with Liqui Moly Jet Clean
- hydrogen cleaning
However, the misfire problem still persists and I don't know what to do.
When I diagnose my vehicle, the following codes appear: P0632, P0640, P0664, P0656, P2092, P2096.
The mechanic recommends that I change the fuel pressure regulator, but I can't find the part on the diagram (only the sensor exists, not the regulator), and I also think that the regulator is automatically attached to the submerged fuel pump.
Do you have any ideas for solutions, or have you already had the same problems?
Thank you in advance,
Ugo

Regarding your vehicle's symptoms: Do not list codes without specifying whether they are new or stored. Clear the codes, let the problem recur, then note what codes pop up.
Also, do your own research on what the codes mean. Don't ask people giving you free advice to go looking up the codes.
Finally, be very careful to record the symptoms. What rpm range, throttle position, engine temperature, and so forth. "Check engine light" is not useful; all it means is "Something is wrong", which we all already know.
