Trading in high mileage GLC for high mileage GL450
I’m looking to trade in my 2018 GLC with over 100k miles for a 2016 GL450 with 95k miles and drIve it for a long time! It’s the car I’ve always wanted and I want the space for towing around my school age boys. I think it’s a great deal but I’m driving it and having it inspected tomorrow. Should I do the inspection at MB dealer for $200 (car has been serviced there before by prior owner) OR a local highly respected garage where I would likely do expensive repairs if needed? Any musts? Do I get an extended warranty? How do I see the spec sheet? TIA and wish me luck!!

Is this just an "Euro" shop or a dedicated MB shop? If its just an Euro shop they may or may not have the Star System but a highly respected shop specialized on the MB brand more than likely would not be in the business without it.
So yes I`d take a reputable MB specialist over any dealership any day.
Every shop is different for test driving matter, most of them drive it before and after the job.
