Hey there new friends. I just became the proud owner of a pre-owned 2008 GL450. I'm loving the car but looking for a remote for the RSE. The vehicle came with a brand new remote for the R-class.

The correct remote is backordered at the dealership and pretty steeply priced on eBay. Wondering if anyone has one that they'd be willing to part with? Willing to pay a fair amount and/or trade for the remote I have (which is also pretty steeply priced on eBay).

Looks like any remote for 2006-2008 GLs would be compatible, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi. I can't help with the remote, but I have a thought. I have a 2011 GL450 with the rear entertainment. Based on my real-life experience (including traveling with 2 youbg children), for the price of the MB remotes, coupled with the relatively dated capabilities of the entertainment system, it might be better and cheaper to buy two tablets and mount the over the existing screens.

I have an extra remote from a 2011 GL550.. it seems like everytime the batteries died they bought another remote?
