Morning all I am wondering your thoughts on some issues with my GL320 X164 they are
the steering wheel column for the indicator/wiper moves freely, but has no effect on either wipers or turn/inidcator function, zero response
the electric steering wheel adjust no function, seating memory works and will adjust it
the rain sensor control of wipers works as it should
the hazard button works as it should
the lower dash air suspension / traction buttons do not function and no lights
the air con heater controls illuminate but now blower or heat
heated seats work as should
no reverse lights when revers engaged
no rear windows by any switch
my early research suggests to me the SAM both front and rear are at fault ?

Only a Mercedes star system read out will tell you which Sam is malfunctioning, but this does sound like front Sam.

If I do recall correctly, most everything in front of the B pillar lives on the front Sam.

 

piggy backing on this thread with my own electrical gremlins, my license plate light is out even after replacing the bulbs. Has anyone ever had this issue?

 

Scan the vehicle plus.. how old is the battery?
