2012 GL 450. 2014 Smart Fortwo Passion
X164 roof top attention.
It is time to spruce up my 2012 GL 450 roof top. The rear black section is faded with very little shinny sections. I believe I will sand off the rest of the shinny sections then apply some VGG wipe on clear coat. I really want a vinyl flag up there after that.

I wonder if the headlight ceramic stuff I used would work to seal it?? (I'm still amazed by it lol)

What was the stuff you used?
Mine was the same, I cleaned it, clay bar it and buffed then put some wax on it but thats a temporary solution for a short while, good thing its not visible unless you climb up to the roof, otherwise would drive me nuts looking at it.
