Battery Charging (NOCO Genius 10)
Anyway, the vehicle has sat for about 6-months now and battery is dead, had to use physical key to open door. I hooked up the Genius 10 and ran it for 18 hours and it's still only flashing on the 1st light. I was using the posts under the hood.
I changed it to 12v constant, moved the passenger seat up and am hooked directly to the battery now.
If I don't get any movement, is it safe to run repair on the OEM AGM? It is from October 2021.
Also, any idea why the passenger mirror blind spot blinks red and driver mirror blind spot blinks orange when in charge mode?
Thanks for any assistance or information.
After the Genius 10 didn't charge it and running it through 2 repair cycles, I tried to jump it with the Grand Cherokee, but it just clicks. I assume the battery is damaged or the aux battery isn't charged either and not allowing the jump. Any thoughts?
I am currently trying to charge the old accessory and main battery that I had replaced to hopefully be able to jump the car to move it. I am getting some tree work done, so I need to get it out of the way.
If I can't successfully jump it, will it stay in neutral after disconnecting it from the Grand Cherokee? I can at least push it down the driveway out of the way.
Batteries would not charge, even after being hooked up to NOCO Genius 10 for 48 hours. Then going through 2 Repair modes and being hooked up for another 24 hrs. Not one single ounce of power to the vehicle.
Jumping attempt with a 2025 Grand Cherokee Limited did not turn the starter. Just clicks as if the battery was bad.
While connected to the Grand Cherokee, I was able to get the vehicle in Neutral. To keep it in Neutral, I disconnected the jumper cables because if I took the keys out, it put it in park.
Anyway, when the tree crew arrived, we attempted to jump it with a NOCO Jump Pack, and the starter turned a little but there wasn't enough juice in the jump pack to turn it. Jumping with a Ford SuperDuty Diesel allowed the vehicle to turn over.
I did have a error message regarding the aux battery being toast.
I let the vehicle run for 2 hours before turning it off. Completely dead after turning it off. Both batteries need replaced.
So, if you are completely dead and vehicle won't jump, find a friend with a true work truck.
