NightView

Has anyone used the new NightView system? I know reviews on previous system were mixed.

A gaggle of MB's
See Jim's review... not my cup of tea... light package much-much more useful... NV is distracting at best, and NV even more severely limited in foul weather conditions including fog, rain, and snow..

All I know is that it saved a man's life one night who was walking down a dark road. I came around the bend in my 2010 E63 and it picked him up - without it, I would have never seen him and likely hit him. It also picked up numerous wildlife (deer) that I would never see at night, even with the Xenon's.

Take a look at my other post. I must be using it wrong and would appreciate your insight as to how to make it effective. I've seen plenty of deer with my eyes, then go to nightview to verify and they are out of the field of view of the camera. I don't feel comfortable driving my vehicle from the screen.

I'd love to find a way to obtain value from this - it's not a cheap option.

Jim,

From what I have heard from other user's of previous versions is consistent with the issues you are having. The technology and interface is just not ready for prime time yet.
