Male 43, however, I was in my first GL @ 40. It's really my wife's car / taxi to shuttle around my 3 kids (9,7,5) and their friends.

Female- it's not nice to ask a lady her age, but I'm young enough to have young kids which is why we needed the GL as a family hauler. My daily is a '14 Audi S4.

By the way, I bought it for my husband. He drives a Wrangler as his daily and it doesn't have the tow capacity we need. The GL is too truck-like for my taste, reminds me of my old F250 that I had for hauling horses. Well, sort of. I like it for what it is- there is no other SUV I'd rather own. My dream MB though? E63 AMG.... wagon.
