Thought I'd start a poll to see what colors everyone is getting.

 

After 1 day, we're still waiting for a pearl beige metallic. Other than that the distribution is pretty spread out. Keep your input coming.

Everyone knows BLACK is the fastest color!

But is Obsidian faster?

 

I was considering a black 550 but after looking at two black 550's in the flesh I ordered mine with Diamond White. For me the black sort of hides the AMG mesh grills on the front and rear bumpers. They really pop on a lighter color GL.

Of the two black 550's I saw, one had a black interior and the other the brown Designo interior. I preferred the black interior to the brown Designo.

Obsidian Black w/Auburn Brown Leather

 

Just traded my 2012 M-B CLS63 w/P30 option about a month ago for the new 2013 M-B GL550 4matic. Out of the hot rod business. Really liking the GL in obsidian black metallic with beige leather. Was a special order loaded up by another customer who failed to complete the deal. I just got lucky that I wandered into the dealership that day and the GL was available. Miss the CLS63's quickness and braking, but the lifestyle has changed a bit.

Jim when you get a chance can you add Palladium Silver then we can see how many are out there .

 

I wanted Black and the wife wanted Iridium Silver Metallic, we ended up driving home in the Silver

We have the interior nailed down for us but we cant seem to make the call on the exterior.
Black and polar white is what we have been debating on. Weed settle on one color then change in a day or 2.
Ive owned White for the last 15years with tan but don't want tan interior so went with black interior.

Now we saw Diamond Silver Metallic. Has anyone seen that color in person, I haven't, wonder why?
