A full shot treatment - but personally a owner can get very good results without a buffer results starting with a clean/new GL and applying polish like Eizsett Glanzwax Blue.
Sure a buffer will do a great job with hard water deposits or road scum - but if you don't have those on a fresh GL,,, you don't necessarily need to go out and buy a buffer...

i agree a buffer isnt required- i actually stopped using it a few
years ago- a good hand scrub works- only aches later!
would u say Eizett is top of the line, or one of?

Starting with a clean new Mercedes paint - Einszett Glanzwax (Blue top) at $22 is hard to beat "value" for wipe-on-cure-30-min-wipe-off sealant. Objective is a light-thin-even coat. Let that cure for about a day, then you can add visual "depth" with a equally quick tlight-thin-even-cost-15-min-cure nano-carnuba spray wax...
I am not protesting a full detail - but frankly if you hit it soon after delivery... you get a long-lasting-bang-for-reasonable-buck-and-not-much-labor..
