2013 GL550- Mud Flaps and Illuminated Symbol

2013 GL550- Mud Flaps and Illuminated Symbol
Hello,
First post on the forums. Recently purchased a 2013 GL550 and love almost everything about it. Put almost every option into the car and then went to put in a few accessories. Purchased the mud flaps and the illuminated Benz symbol. When they went to install it, I was told that the mud flaps that are currently available do not fit the 2013 GL550. I was also then told that they could not install the Illuminated symbol. Kind of disappointing when I heard but was wondering if any other 2013 GL550 owners have run into the same issues or if it's just a incompetent crew at my local dealership. Also if anyone knows of any mud flaps that would work.
A few other observations:
-Went with the designo seats. Beautiful look but with all the small tiny holes, everything small enough (such as crumbs) get stuck. Not sure if others have a solution...Other than banning my kids from riding or eating in the car
-Installed the Hot spot. The speed seems very weak.

i didnt get the mud. flaps but mine seems to have small flaps that came on it- i thought everyone had it.. as for illuminated symbol- wasnt available at my delivery time and i didnt get it.
ventilated seats- yea crumbs can get stuck- small car vaccum gets em out- i stick with old school principal- no eating in the car- doesnt always happen and yea i've had the crumb issue too..
thought about getting the hotspot but wasnt sure about speed and so i didnt get it..

I have not seen mud flaps for the US GL550 with sport kit - maybe a Canadian or Euro member could post something - or search W166 forum for link to German accessories.
The "illuminated" Star may/may-not fit the GL550 - the service dept has the install release/fitment guide for that - at $600 for the Star I understand from my guys installation is about 3 shop hrs on top.
Hot Spot is good for rural areas - but is what I call 2 1/2 G, as compared to 4G - and not intended for streaming video - you have "free" 6 mos 5gb monthly service.
Crossbars and roof box are nifty - that prices out about $1100 with large box - self install is relatively easy...
3M crystalline tint is awesome if you are in a "sun" state with a competant installer.
3M Ventire Shield invisible bra is cool - check 3M site for installer in your area that has expereince to hand-custom-cut for your GL550 - much/much better than pre-cut-computer piece kit.
Einszett Glanz Wax (Blue top) for wipe-on-30-min-cure-wipe-off sealant, maintained with any decent nano-carnuba spray-wipe wax for additional depth/luster bonus wheels too
