For those of you with 2013 GL experience, any data on reliability? Please share your model.
How does it compare to your experience with other new cars - MB or otherwise?

I've had 2011 GL350 for 2 years and now 2013 GL450 for almost 6 months - both cars with zero issues.

A gaggle of MB's
1) Rare COMAND unit failure requiring warranty replacement unit

2) Uncommon brake rotor replacement at/about 5K-6K miles due to pre-production contamination of brake rotors leading to warping/uneven surface after mileage - warranty repair

That's about what I have personally seen, or been reliably told from trusted sources.

2013 GL450
had a problem with the soft door close motor on the right rear door that requires a part to be shipped from outside the US. but nothing unusual from any other new cars. otherwise runs perfectly still at 8k miles.

I'm at my first service interval next week and have had zero issues on my GL350. I don't think it's relevant to discuss my reliability experience with my 2007, but it was a good experience.

Approaching 6K on my 2013 GL450..... no issues, none! 2011 Gl450 had 35K...no issues, none! 2007 GL450 had 60K had a check engine light issue, air suspension had a "factory issued service call" issue..................none of these were serious....one strut was showing some leakage by that time.
