Jump Start at 8000 miles
For some reason my 2013 GL450 didn't switch off automatically last night and today morning found out that I couldn't start the car.
I was skeptical of jump starting as some of the users reported frying their electronics while trying to jump start because of KEYLESS-GO ignition.
I went through the manual and as suggested took out the KEYLESS-GO. I then connected the GL450 battery terminals with my MDX and was able to start the engine. Everything seems to be OK at this stage.

Glad you got it going. On my 2007 I had a glitch one time that drained my battery. As near as I could diagnose, I think it somehow missed disconnecting the bluetooth/phone connection I was on. It only happened once.

I think it might be the glitch that Jim experienced...I recollect the radio was on. Usually after stopping the car and after opening the driver door, the Bluetooth/phone gets automatically disconnected...for some reason it was not the case last night. After stepping out of the car, I had to stop the music by hitting pause on the iPhone.
Also, I have noticed that the car automatically shuts down after you switch off ignition…wonder why it was not the case last night.

Sounds like the same glitch. I haven't had it on my 2013. What I ended up doing on my 2007 was just glance at the display when I left. If the display was still on, I knew it didn't correctly shut off, but I never saw it again.
