Service B for 2009 GL450
Hello, I'm new to the forum and wanted to ask about Service B for my '09 GL450. We just brought it in to the dealership for a scheduled oil change at about 18,000 miles (sooner than the 20K I thought I had until - 10K per change). Anyway, we mentioned we thought we'd have to come in again around 20K miles, but they told us not to bother until 25K. Now, the Service B indicator is on, not sure what it means though and can't find much info online. I'm going to check the manual but also thought I would post to the forum. I see that there is a way to manually reset the service indicator, but don't know if I should really do that. I just really don't feel like bringing it in to the dealership if I don't have to. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! For reference there are two GL forums - the X164 (MY2007-2012) and the X166 (MY2013 - present). This is the X166 forum.
Now to answer your question, I would advise calling your dealer and discussing with them. If they did the service at 18K, they should have reset the indicator and therefore you don't need service. If they did the service and forgot to reset the indicator, that is one thing, but if they forgot to the the service period, you need to get serviced. I'd put the responsibility on them.
