2013 GL 450
Have you reached out to some of the tuners and asked what they have available?

There isn't much interest in tuning a GL 350. Most people who are looking for more performance go for a GL 550 or 63. I have gotten tunes on Porsches and other cars before, but wouldn't risk the warranty on tuning my big diesel SUV. I'm sure that some tuners will do this for you.

RaceChip feedback for GL350

Has anyone tried the RaceChip in a GL350:

Have any dynometer testing been performed that may be shared?
Thank you for the reply.

The big tuners dont openly advertise tunes for the diesel (Eurotech, Kleemen, Brabus etc)

I always thought between 275-300 hp would be perfect for the GL350 with 500 lbft-tq. These prices are dirt cheap $679 to get 304 hp and 583 lbft-tq.

Expectation Management on Tuning

I recommend that one read the following review prior to purchase:

http://www.racechip-usa.com/media/racechip_review.pdf

Note that all of tests did not achieve the vendors' claims. The RaceChip does have a couple of adjustment switches with multiple settings each. The article did not articulate which settings were used and if an optimization procedure was followed to achieve the maximum possible performance.
