Adaptive ride control

Wondering if anyone ordered this as stand alone or knows anything about it. For $800 is it worth it?

I had to get it as part of the on/off road option. I like having it, as the sport mode also changes some characteristics like the shift patterns and gas pedal response. Frankly in the normal auto/comfort mode the car sometimes has a little hesitation when pulling out into traffic. Prefer to switch to sport if I need a quicker takeoff. Also my puppy seems to prefer sport mode because the Active Curve system keeps the car flatter through turns in that mode, seems to make him less car sick.

Ahhhh, the 2014 has the adaptive damping control available as a separate option aside from the active curve control.
Wondering about this as an option on its own.

Adaptive ride control comes as of the sport package in Canada, I leave mine in comfort 100% of the time.

I special ordered ADS adaptive damping system on our 2013 for $800 plus special order fee. we also added the matte wood for the dash.

We find the ride in comfort mode better and more controlled than our 2010 without it. Passengers have complimented the ride as being very smooth. I find the sport mode too stiff and jittery around town.
